Australia’s fastest-growing country music festival rises again in 2021
Groundwater Country Music Festival was postponed in 2020 due to COVID restrictions, and thanks to the hard work and determination of all Australians, we are excited to announce that the free event will be back in 2021 with a revised date, scheduled for 12-14 November.
The move from July to November will enhance everything the festival has to offer, showcasing the best of the Gold Coast as well as doing what it does best, bringing Country music to Australia’s favourite playground.
Festival Director, Mark Duckworth said:
“We’re excited to be giving Groundwater artists and fans something to look forward to and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Gold Coast for another great weekend, celebrating all things country music.”
In 2019, Groundwater saw over 70,000 people attend the three-day event. The festival allowed patrons to enjoy over 130 hours of entertainment in stunning locations throughout Broadbeach. To top off the already successful year, the much-loved festival took out the 1st prize in the Festivals and Events category at the 2019 Australian Tourism Awards.
