Gold Coast beach will turn pink at new Rosé Coast festival

Rose Coast Gold Coast

An exciting new event is joining the Gold Coast event calendar in 2021, adding a pop of colour and good times in a celebration of everything that makes coast-life the only-life.

The Gold Coast will be transformed into a sea of pink and white as a wave of rosé lovers wash up on Kurrawa Beach to experience the inaugural, Rosé Coast Gold Coast, Saturday, 1 May 2021

Set against the backdrop of the iconic Gold Coast skyline in Broadbeach, guests will discover an impressive line-up of Australian rosés alongside beers, ciders and cocktails accompanied by a curated gourmet food menu.

The ultimate beach party is made complete with beach games and masterclasses including Wine Selectors and wine education. Beachgoers can also awaken their inner artist at the Pinot & Picasso art classes and sand sculpting workshops, or simply relax and let endota spa Broadbeach look after you with a massage and skin consultation – all set to an upbeat soundtrack, with live tunes across the day from the resident Rosé Coast DJ.

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said the event is a sure fit for the City.

A key focus of our new Major Events team is to expand and diversify our annual events program. This event fits that bill perfectly. I applaud the organisers for seeing their way through the challenges of COVID-19 and making Rosé Coast Gold Coast happen in 2021. Let’s raise our glasses to bubbles, beers, ciders and cocktails.

Major Events Gold Coast CEO, Jan McCormick said,

As an event which fits our destination so perfectly, I am delighted to welcome Rosé Coast Gold Coast to our city. I encourage those attending to get the full Gold Coast experience by extending their visit, with an abundance of boutique and luxury hotels just a stone’s throw from the event.

Tickets are anticipated to sell quickly with the entry price point of only $49, with the option to upgrade to the exclusive VIP Beach Club experience. Pre-sale tickets will go live on Monday, 22 February with the Second Release to follow on Thursday, 25 February.
