Water Polo Queensland is hosting their flagship event, the Water Polo Queensland State Titles in 2021 and 2023 on the Gold Coast.
Thanks to a new two-year event partnership with Major Events Gold Coast, the Gold Coast will host both the WPQ State Titles marquee event for Water Polo Queensland from 19 – 25 January 2021 at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games venue and state of the art, FINA accredited Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in Southport.
This magnificent facility boasts two Olympic standard pools as well as a dive pool and is an ideal venue for major water polo events as it can accommodate five fields of play.
The six-day event will be delivered as two sessions with the Boys and Girls 12&U and 16&U event being held from 19-21 January and the Boys and Girls 14&U and 18&U and Men’s & Women’s Opens events scheduled from 23-25 January.
The event will attract over 1800 participants including players, coaches, managers, referees, and officials and over 1000 spectators from right across Queensland and from as far west as Toowoomba, Cairns and Townsville in the north and all areas in between such as Rockhampton, the Sunshine Coast and of course Brisbane.
