The Kokoda Challenge is Australia’s toughest team endurance event and will test your physical and mental limits, proving to yourself what you’re really made of.
The Kokoda Challenge is comprised of roughly 39 hours of over 4,000 metres of elevation, walking all weekend through the day and night in whatever weather conditions are thrown your way and pushing yourself beyond what you thought you were capable of. It is considered Australia’s toughest team endurance event testing both mental and physical fitness to the limit. This event is both beneficial to the Kokoda Youth Foundation and aims to raise funds for the youth programs run whilst also honouring the veterans who fought along the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during WWII.
This event will start at the Mudgeeraba Bowls Club, before it takes off into Springbrook National Park and hike through 96km of rainforest and bush north up to the finish line in Nerang National Park. Add the Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge to your bucket list this year!
