Gold Coast Swim Week is a week-long celebration of swimming 21-28 April 2024 with ocean swims and leading coaches and special guests hosting clinics and training sessions along Gold Coast beaches and pools.
The annual Cooly Classic Ocean Swim will open the program on April 21. This is the Gold Coast’s largest ocean swimming event, with swims from 1.0km to 5.0km starting at Snapper Rocks.
It attracts a huge range of abilities, from past and present Olympians to the general public of all ages, including age categories from 8 to 70+ years. The Cooly Classic Ocean Swim is a rare opportunity to swim a course with some of Australia’s most revered surf breaks as your backdrop – starting at Snapper Rocks passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount, Coolangatta, and finishing at beautiful Kirra.
Regardless of which distance you choose, you’re guaranteed to experience the crystal clear waters of Southern Gold Coast in autumn and that’s a must-do for any swimmer.
