Surfers Paradise is set to host the annual Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic 23-25 February 2024.

Rapidly becoming a favourite event on the calendar, the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic will see the world’s best surf sports stars go head to head in the final round of the Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf to declare the overall Series Champion.

This event attracts the best surf sports athletes from across the globe to compete in ski, swim, board and ironman and team events. Held across a three-day competition, the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic showcases some of Australia’s fittest athletes competing for global recognition in one of the toughest surf sports in the industry.

The BMD Northcliffe Surf Club is situated at the southern end of Surfers Paradise, around 1km from the central hub of the Gold Coast. The surf club boasts an award-winning restaurant, with a beachfront location providing the best possible seat in the house for the event.
