Robbie McEwen Gran Fondo will take place at the Gold Coast Cycle Centre, this September 2021.
The event will feature a mass participation trail run, plus mountain bike & road cycling events of various distances, suited for elites to kids. Growing substantially each year, 2021 will see the 10th edition of this event and expects to welcome up to 1,200 participants.
Located beside Nerang National Park, the Gold Coast Cycle Centre offers an outdoor velodrome, off-road criterium circuits, modern clubhouse, grandstand and viewing platforms, and is a regular host to regional level cycling events. Serving as a venue for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the Centre hosted the start and finish location for the mountain bike events. and was a preferred training site for numerous countries in the lead up to the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
