The glory days of surf sport will return at the Surf Life Saving Queensland Youth State Championships this 2021, with an unforgettable experience set for both competitors and spectators.
The three-day carnival held at North Kirra Life Saving Club will be action-packed with thousands of the next generation surf sport superstars battling each other on the surf and sand in their quest for state glory.
More than 1,600 surf lifesaving youth sports competitors from all across Queensland will compete in beach sprints, flags, board rescue, surf rescue, ironman and ironwoman events.
The action back of beach will be just as exciting for competitors and spectators alike with a Festival Zone featuring super screens displaying all the action on the beach, market stalls, food vendors, a mechanical surfboard and live music.
Surf Life Saving Queensland’s State Championships has a long, proud, rich history dating back as far back as 1932. This is the largest and most prestigious event for U11-U15 age categories and has the finest talent in surf sports from across Queensland go head-to-head.
The event will be live-streamed and spectators won’t require binoculars for this event, with super screens on the beach ensuring everyone won’t miss a second of the action.
