The QLD State Cup is an annual 3-day Touch Football tournament held in November that brings more than 2,100 participants from across Queensland, interstate, and internationally to the picturesque Gold Coast.
The event is the premier senior affiliate competition in Queensland for ages 15-60+ and includes male, female and mixed divisions for all abilities. Players and referees alike, come together and represent their local Affiliate for the chance to be crowned the champions in their age division in a fun, enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
The competition promotes a fun and inclusive touch football experience and includes a Touch Football Specialised (TFS) division. It is an event that can be enjoyed with family and friends and is promoted as a long weekend getaway!
The aspirational goal is that the event will become a regular “must do” on the touch football calendar creating a vibrant and festival-type atmosphere that is unlike any other touch football tournament.
This tournament remains a must-do on the touch enthusiasts’ calendar and provides a fantastic opportunity to have a weekend away with family and friends.
