The Champion Basketball School of Queensland (CBSQ) Open Championships is an annual statewide tournament produced by Basketball Queensland in conjunction with Queensland School Sport and is coming to the Gold Coast 15-18 September, 2022.
Held at the Commonwealth Games legacy venue, the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, as well as the Runaway Bay Indoor Sports Centre, 450 teams will compete across multiple divisions with the winning teams gaining automatic entry into Basketball Australia’s Australian Schools Championships later in 2022.
The Coomera Indoor Sports Centre is a world-class multipurpose facility, serving as a venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games Gymnastics and Netball competition. Located in one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions and within easy distance of Surfers Paradise and Brisbane, the Centre offers large versatile spaces with a building footprint of 11,760 square metres, including modern meeting facilities combined with a choice of catering options, making this a great venue for your next event.
