BOWLZILLA Gold Coast

BOWLZILLA Gold Coast is the largest skate gathering of the year in Australia where the best skaters in the country come together to compete.

Now in its ninth year, BOWLZILLA Gold Coast was established as the first all-encompassing National Park Skating competition in Australia. The annual skating festivities, 21-24 February 2024, include learn-to-ride clinics, art shows, workshops, music, and parties and is rounded out with a skate competition on the 24th February. Park skaters across Australia practice all year to travel to BOWLZILLA Gold Coast and prove themselves against their peers. With divisions across all ages, abilities and sexes, a goal of the event has always been to provide the most inclusive week of skating in Australia.

International competitors from the United States, New Zealand, the UK, and Asia will descend on the Gold Coast to compete with Australia’s best local talent for the coveted prize and national recognition.  BOWLZILLA Gold Coast is one of Australia’s largest Skateboarding events with an equal prize purse across the Open and Women divisions.

Hosted at Elanora Skatepark, boasting an eight-foot bowl with metal coping on one side through the pipe to a twelve-foot vert on the other, this park is a must on any skaters travel agenda as one of the most famous bowls in the country.
