The Basketball Queensland State Championships are the premier representative basketball competitions available to junior players in Queensland.
With the series of tournaments taking place from January to July each year, the Under 16 Boys State Championships will be held at Coomera Indoor Sports Centre on 3-6 April 2023. This tournament will attract the best of the best boys’ talent from North, South, East and West Queensland to compete for the State Championship title. The State Championships provides a pathway for players to develop their basketball career with the potential to be identified for entry into the Basketball Queensland High-Performance Program, and also is a major development activity for Queensland junior referees.
Renowned for its versatility, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre can host events ranging from elite sporting events to concerts, exhibitions, banquets, and business events with on-site dining. Located in one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions and within easy distance of Surfers Paradise and Brisbane, the Centre offers large versatile spaces with a building footprint of 11,760 square metres, including modern meeting facilities combined with a choice of catering options, making this a great venue for your next event.
