Australian Youth & Junior Super Sprint Championships

The Australian Youth and Junior Super Sprint Championships see athletes battling it out over three days of racing to be awarded the Australian Champion.

The Super Sprint Race Championships is the third National Championship event for the Junior and Youth triathletes in 2022 and is traditionally the biggest and best attended event in the national calendar. The purpose of this event is to give the athletes a platform to access multiple racing opportunities over consecutive days which gives the athletes and coaches the ability to refine their race craft.

The Super Sprint Race Weekend has been Race One of the National Junior and Youth Series since 2007. Since then a restructure of the series occurred due to COVID-19 and the overall development of Triathlon, now see’s stand alone national championships over the Super Sprint, Sprint and Mixed Relay disciplines for the Junior and Youth categories.

Held at the Gold Coast Performance Centre –  a world-class sporting facility located in the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast at Runaway Bay. Hosting a wide variety of events annually, from Interstate and World-Championship Events to school carnivals, the spacious venue offers organisers with the freedom to use their imagination when it comes to planning the perfect sporting event.
