Participate in something BIGGER. The Australian Volleyball Schools Cup is the largest school-based sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere and is returning to the Gold Coast this Summer.
Organised by Volleyball Australia, the tournament attracts teams from across Australia and internationally and will be held at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre 4 – 10 December 2022.
This event has seen tremendous growth since its inception and in 2019 saw 414 teams from 124 schools from across Australia and New Zealand. This unique event has delivered almost all of the national players (beach and indoor) for the past three decades and will continue to see the next generation of national, international and potentially Olympic athletes.
Schools Cup is the marquee junior participation event in the national events portfolio, bringing together hundreds of secondary school teams annually in December, enjoying an introduction to volleyball, camaraderie and enthusiastic competition amongst the nation’s school community.
