The Australian Volleyball Schools’ Cup is the largest school-based sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting teams from across Australia, plus international teams.
The AVSC is the marquee junior participation event in the national events portfolio, bringing together hundreds of secondary school teams annually in December, enjoying an introduction to volleyball, camaraderie and enthusiastic competition amongst the nation’s school community.
This unique event has delivered almost all of the national players (beach and indoor) for the last 3 decades and will continue to see the next generation of national, international and potentially Olympic athletes.
Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre is a premium events venue, boasting a state-of-the-art design, the venue features an enormous 5,980sqm of flexible space, grandstand seating with a capacity of 5,000, international digital broadcast lighting and a LED production screen. With several function and meeting room spaces, plus 400 undercover parking spaces with an additional 1,000 external spaces available within the precinct.
