2023 Bowls Australian Open

Following on from the record breaking success of last year, the Bowls Australian Open is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2023, running from 10 – 23 June.

After moving to the sunny Gold Coast in 2015, the Australian Open has become a true festival of bowls, with two weeks of action played across the 13 host clubs on the Gold Coast.

Over 2,000 bowlers from across Australia, and indeed the world are expected to attend again, with entry being completely open to any registered bowler. This event is completely open to all athletes with no qualifying required and is drawn completely random with no seedings in either sectional or knockout play. With a large total pool price money on offer there are over 500 prize-money places across all disciplines.

Broadbeach Bowls Club is the main venue, with a total of  13 Gold Coast clubs are utilised to stage portions of the event across the 14 days of competition, from Tugun to Paradise Point.
