2023 Basketball Queensland Under 18 State Championships

From 11-15 January 2023, the best U18 Boys and Girls Competitions will compete at the Basketball Queensland Under 18 State Championships for five action packed days of intense basketball on the Gold Coast.

The Basketball Queensland U18 State Championships are the premier representative basketball competitions available to junior players in Queensland, with the series of tournaments taking place from January to July each year. These State Championship tournaments provide a pathway for players to develop their basketball career with the potential to be an identified athlete for entry into the Basketball Queensland High Performance Program which also can be a major development pathway for Queensland junior referees.

Hosted at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, this stadium is an all-purpose built, architecturally breathtaking venue. Boasting a state-of-the-art design, the venue features an enormous 5,980sqm of flexible space, grandstand seating with a capacity of 5,000, international digital broadcast lighting and a LED production screen, several function and meeting room spaces, plus 400 undercover parking spaces with an additional 1,000 external spaces available within the precinct. This centre blends scale with sophistication, from the sweeping, modern angles and light-filled zones to the clever integration of sport, technology and entertainment.

The 2023 Basketball Queensland Under 18 State Championships are proudly supported by Major Events Gold Coast.
