The 2022 Senior Nissan State Age Championships is a state-wide competition where athletes compete for their association at the highest representative level in Queensland.
The event plans to offer a unique netball experience by bringing together players, coaches, officials, umpires and spectators to celebrate the love for our game in a festival of Netball. 2021 was an extremely successful year for Netball Queensland as the State Age Championships reached capacity and became the largest community sport event in Queensland. Forcing them to divide into Junior and Senior competitions. In 2022, Netball Queensland is introducing a dedicated Boys competition, whilst also seeing invitational teams from the Northern Territory and Indigenous Representative teams.
Firth Park in Mudgeeraba is the home of Hinterland District Netball Association and will welcome up to 46 different associations from Queensland. Established in 1995, Hinterland District Netball Association is the largest on the Gold Coast and one of the largest in Queensland.
