2022 Judo Australia National Championships

The 2022 Judo Australia National Championships is the premier judo event in Australia.

More than 1,000 athletes will descend upon the Gold Coast to find out who the best judoka is in more than 100 weight divisions and categories. Held at premier sporting venue, the Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre in Carrara, the event features past, present and future Olympians, Commonwealth Games representatives and Judo World Championship competitors.

Friday will see the Kata competition get underway with a brilliant display of the artform of judo at its purest. Saturday will see the junior and senior boys and girls take to the mat on what will be an exciting day of matches. Sunday will be the showcase day with competitions in our Cadet, Junior and Seniors competitions. Monday will see the close of the event with the Kyu Grades, Veterans and No Limits categories competing.

Whether you’re a black belt in the sport or even if you’ve never heard of judo before, this is a great opportunity to come down and see some incredible athletes in action.

Tickets are currently on sale throughout event ticketing site.

If you are unable to attend this year’s event in person, don’t worry, you can catch all the action on the live stream, thanks to partners News Corp and Sport4. Links to the live stream will be provided through the Judo Australia website and social media channels.
