Groundwater Country Music Festival (CMF) is an annual free-to-attend festival hosted in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast in November.
Boasting one of Australia’s fastest growing music festivals, the 3-day beachside event showcases premier country music performers on a number of outdoor stages and in venues throughout Broadbeach. The incredible line-up features more than 40 artists, plus roving entertainment, markets and more. Groundwater CMF attracts thousands of country music fans to book accommodation on the Gold Coast and stay for the full three days of entertainment.
In 2019, Groundwater saw over 70,000 people attend the three-day event. The festival allowed patrons to enjoy over 130 hours of entertainment in stunning locations throughout Broadbeach. In a final accolade, the much-loved festival took out the 1st prize in the Festivals and Events category at the 2019 Australian Tourism Awards.
Situated along the beachside, Broadbeach is famed for its iconic location for major events due to its large vicinity of open parks and spaces, is the home to some of the Gold Coast’s most-hyped bars, restaurants, plus a large variety of accommodation operators. Kurrawa Park will be the location for one of the Groundwater CMF headliner stages, The Kurrawa Park Stage along with a range of festival activations.
