The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw and Thoroughbred Beach Run are confirmed for 2021 however, there are a number of changes to The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions January Carnival calendar.

In an effort to provide a COVID-safe environment for staff, clients and the broader, local community, the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo has been postponed until January 2022. However, for the first time in history, the January Gold Coast Yearling Sale will run across seven consecutive days giving fans more opportunities to witness the exciting auctions.

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday (January 16, 2021) will continue as planned with reduced capacity.  The lineup on-course and $10.25 million prize money on offer will guarantee owners and spectators a thrilling day of racing.

Just days prior to the Raceday, The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw and Thoroughbred Beach Run will thrill beachgoers who will get to witness the spectacle of several thoroughbreds with champion jockeys board gallop down the pristine sands of Queensland’s most iconic beach, Surfers Paradise.

It all starts bright and early, with the first beach run at 6.20 am

For a full run-down of the morning’s proceedings including their COVID-19 Safe Plan, visit the Magic Millions website.
