Flotsam Festival offers Gold Coast visitors an exciting season of sea-inspired cinema amidst a whirlwind of short film premieres, workshops, in-depth discussions with film makers and photographers, and photographic exhibitions staged both indoor and out. Flotsam Festival’s 2022 iteration of Surf Film + Photography is a pilot with ambitions to become a major drawcard on Queensland’s cultural calendar in future years.
Held across the Southern Gold Coast, there are Surf Film and Photography Installations starting at Kirra Hill Lookout and stretching all the way down to Point Dangar Lookout. Creating a trail of surf culture throughout Coolangatta and surrounding suburbs.
