A sensational lineup of award-winning country music artists has been announced for this year’s Groundwater Country Music Festival (GCMF).
With the iconic Gold Coast skyline as the festival backdrop, music lovers will be treated to three epic days of free live music from 28-30 October with country music favourites from near and far gracing the GCMF stages.
The bill features an incredible lineup of home-grown and international talent plus an exciting selection of up-and-coming artists. Among the country music stars descending on Broadbeach will be headliners Fanny Lumsden and Travis Collins who will be joined by Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, Catherine Britt, Gina Jeffreys and Kirsty Lee Akers.
With borders now well and truly open, we’re excited to welcome international artists back to Groundwater again. New Zealand’s Kaylee Bell, who is currently the most streamed female country artist in Australasia will hit the Broadbeach stage, as well as number one selling Canadian artist Dan Davidson, who has racked up an enviable array of awards.
Festival Director Mark Duckworth said this year’s Groundwater Country Music Festival is shaping up to be one of our best country music parties yet!
Mark Duckworth, Festival Director:
2022 will see our festival fans be treated to some incredible acts from across the country as well as some international flavours along the way.
Three days of country music vibes will swell the spirit and welcome the Queensland sun this October, with over 40 country artists set to take to Groundwater CMF’s various stages to entertain and connect with fans from all over Australia.
ARIA Award and eight times Golden Guitar winning artist Fanny Lumsden said it was a thrill to be heading back to Groundwater CMF this year.
Fanny Lumsden, artist:
It was the first festival we got to play on the 'big stage' back in 2017 so it’s truly one of our favourite festivals… to play and just to be at as well.

As one of four festivals proudly produced by Major Events Gold Coast (MEGC), Groundwater CMF plays a vital role in helping drive visitation and stimulate the Gold Coast economy, providing a significant economic injection to local businesses.
